NLP – Neuro Linguistic Programming – is a system in which we can understand how our thoughts, feelings, and emotions shape our perception of reality and affect our behaviour.  NLP offers us the opportunity to see how the patterns we play out in our behaviour, and whether these patterns serve us, or no longer serve us.  These patterns have been shaped by our language, physiology of the body, and the way our brain processes the overload of data and information it receives daily.  NLP is about learning how our self-talk shapes our reality.


Neuro – Applies to the state of mind, encompassing the brain, nervous system, and body.  Our state of mind is shaped by how we take in the world via our five senses (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, Olfactory, Gustatory), how our brain processes what we’ve received and how the processing of this affects our behaviour and performance in life.


Linguistic – The data and information received via our senses is coded, ordered, categorized, and given value or meaning.  Linguistics pertains to the language patterns we use to communicate this data and information with the world, with others, and with self.  These language patterns do not describe the world we live in; however, they do offer us insight into the way we connect and make sense of the world we have determined for ourselves.  Accessing stored and coded unconscious information that may have remained hidden from view can offer a powerful template for change.


Programming – Just as we install programs on our computers, so too have we installed programs in our own biocomputer (mind/brain/body) via our past experiences, thoughts, emotions, belief structures, values, attitudes and behaviours.  If we look at our biocomputer as our internal operating system, we can determine what programs model success, achievement, attainment and optimal mind performance.  Outdated programs can be uninstalled, and new ones downloaded.


NLP gives us the tools to change our state, the way think, feel, act, and behave so that we can consistently realise and achieve our desired states and outcome.


NLP was created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970s. Many have expanded on the techniques over the years, emphasising the basis that NLP was built on which is ‘modelling’.




 Developed by Dr. Tad James, Time Line Therapy® is a powerful therapeutic process, and emotional release technique, allowing for transformation and change at the subconscious and unconscious level.  All negative emotions, emotional trauma, unwanted thoughts and behaviours, including phobias, anxieties, and depression, are stored at an unconscious level as past, present, or future programming.


We all store time differently and Time Line Therapy® works with our model of time storage to access these negative emotions, traumas, limiting beliefs, disempowering thoughts and behaviours so they can be released, transformed and healed.


The unconscious mind continually seeks to discover more and more, presents repressed memories for resolution, preserves the body and only has our best interest at heart.  We have the power to change what no longer serves us in our life and Through Time Line Therapy® we can become the best version of ourselves.  By clearing the past, present, and future of the negative internal programming we can take control of our life and live the optimal life we want.





We all have an internal filter system called the conscious critical faculty which can be thought of as a mind screen that separates the conscious and unconscious.  How we perceive our reality is based on our beliefs, values, attitudes, and behaviours.  It is the critical faculty that will either accept, reject, dismiss, or delete anything that opposes our perception of our reality.


Hypnosis is the bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind that opens pathways of communication allowing for selective thinking and for positive, empowering suggestions to be accepted so lasting change can be made.


Hypnosis is a state of mind, a change of mental awareness and extreme self-focus which, when induced, will withdraw the attention away from the external stimuli offering a state of physical and mental relaxation that enhances the state of suggestibility.  An extremely effective technique for supporting profound change within, and without.


Our states of consciousness fluctuate as we move from wakefulness to sleep and we literally pass through the hypnotic state whenever we go to sleep and again when we awaken.  Hypnosis is a very natural state of mind that we all experience many times throughout the day.


We all know the term ‘being on auto-pilot’, and we could say that this is an hypnotic state of mind.  Some examples of this are: Driving from A to B and not really remembering how you got there; chilling in front of the TV watching something and not even registering what it is you are watching; staring at the mobile phone not realising they have been talking to you for the past few minutes.


The state of Hypnosis, without the powerful positive suggestions, imaginings, desired outcomes, words, turns of phrase, and emotional reference points, is not much more than a wonderful state of deep relaxation, however, implementing these suggestions, outcomes, reference points etc., profound change can occur.  And who doesn’t want that?
